Nature Enthusiations LLC aspires to share our enthusiasm, appreciation, & respect for the natural world with people of all ages and backgrounds; through nature programs, educational resources, animal & nature-inspired creations, & more!
Our goal is to help people of all ages and backgrounds discover and share their connection to and interest in the natural world.
We love making connections with people and finding common ground in a way that helps everyone (ourselves included!) continue to learn and understand the importance of the amazing wildlife we strive to protect. We believe sharing the incredible stories of and experiences in nature in a positive, interactive, and collaborative manner is imperative to environmental education and stewardship.
After COVID-19 threatened to force an unexpected career shift in 2020, Leah Darst created Nature Enthusiations LLC in order to continue to share her passion and enthusiasm for nature, no matter what the future may bring.
Nature Enthusiations and its founder donate over 150 volunteer hours and 10% of all profits to nature-based organizations each year.
Leah has been a naturalist since 2003 at nature centers and parks across central and southern Minnesota as well as the Minnesota Zoo. She loves exploring, sharing, connecting, and learning with people of all ages. Though she's excited about all things nature, this 'bug lady' is especially interested in insects and other invertebrates, and absolutely loves it when the people around her share their own insect and other nature discoveries! She also enjoys photography, volunteering, and taking her basset hound on sniffaris.
